Andy Foster - The FA
"I have known Paul Bradford for a number of years. He has worked with numerous players during this time and he always provides them with an excellent treatment and rehabilitation programme. Paul is very professional and has great personal qualities, which are essential when supporting injured sports players on the road to recovery. I have no hesitation in recommending Paul and supporting him in this venture".
Tina Edwards - East Riding County FA
"Paul Bradford has been the East Riding County FA physiotherapist for the past six years and is a major contributor to Sports Injuries Treatment for grassroots football within the East Riding area."
Emma Jackson
Hi, I'm Emma Jackson and have been sprinting for Kingston Upon Hull Athletics Club for seven years, under the watchful eye of my coach Dean Lewis. I first met Paul at the start of last year's sprinting season, when a previous injury prevented me from training, let alone competing.
Devastated at being told by another physio that I had to stop training, exercising and competing for at least four weeks, I went to see Paul for a second opinion. How glad I did!
He gave me a thorough check over, asked me about my training, how I warmed up before races and most importantly of all, how I felt in myself. After a full stretch, massage (and a talking to!), Paul sent me home with some daily stretching exercises and said there was no reason not to exercise within my comfort zone. I resumed training with Dean the next day and never looked back - it was one of my most successful seasons yet!
As soon as I feel uncomfortable either training or competing, I go to see Paul - and always before an important event. Paul looks at the whole picture, physically and psychologically, always positive, making me feel confident to train and compete. A phrase Paul uses is "Do you train to get fit, or do you get fit to train?" I would recommend Paul to anyone, he is completely dedicated to his work and is only happy when he has sorted out the problem and you go home happy!
